Riffing off of that long time connection between the Grateful Dead and it's many Jewish fans, we created a design based off the classic "Built To Last". The object of the design meant "to last" being the state of Israel of course. In tying the two themes together we used both Israeli iconography as well as from the band. For Israel we used the map, the millennia old bricks of the Western Wall and the Lion of Judah, this version being the official emblem of Jerusalem. For the band we used their quintessential "dancing bears", except our own "Shruggie" version of them. The "blue star" actually works both ways as we use it as both a Star of David while there are actually several mentions of blue stars in the song itself.
